Re: Trigs Track Day Retro Ford
I cant really add much more to whats already been said
Except i'm still smiling now
I've never done a track day before and for the life of me i cant think why
I have spent my whole life around cars and driving quick is probably my greatest passion
So to of never experianced the pure joy of hooning around a pro curcuit is beond me. Well now i have and it certainly isn't going to be long until i do it again.
So next time will it be in an escort thats cost the best part of 6k to build??????
Will it heck!!!!!!! It will be in the B.R.E pug that uptill this day has cost me nothing
Just go's to show that motorsport most deffinatly doesn't have to cost a fortune and by the que of people wanting a ride by the end of the day it can be just as exciting
Highlights of the day have to be my constant duel with the other B.R.E gtiiiiiiiiii massive.
(dan you no my car is the quickest
)
Taking Andy pipe out for a few laps. Finding out the rears took longer than the fronts to warm up and taking the apex cone clean out on the second fastest corner of the curcuit
Taking a slight detour through the farmers field on the second chicane on the final session ( i think little ant enjoyed that
)
And finnaly meeting up with the people of turbosport, ones i've met before and ones i hadn't
The atmosphere as usual spot on

The banter even better

So all in all a great day
and one that didn't end untill the pug was gasping for fuel on the long right handers

Trig mate your a star
Bring on the next one mate, you have ALL out backing
Viva la France, long live the pug
