So its in between the 205 and 200 for quality?
Been busy today got the motor together:
Quality M8
very nice m8,looking the part.lovely colour m8
That's starting to look
Which red colour did you use for the camcover?
Its the Plasticoat Stuff, seems to work well dunno how it will handle a bit of heat, I used to use Hammerite but it stays too soft and easily marks.Bart2207 said:

Same as my ones, they do the job and are cheaper than kent ones. Just need to get the bigger washers for mine
An old pic
Clint how u get the head so clean ? looks almost new!
Love to see it all done !
KevMk2 - do u have dinner off ur engine ?
I usually have a 3 course meal yeah lol
It's also a bit shorter bore height than a 200 or 205 I found when doing mine, will need the piston crowns licking down a bit or they make noises when it warms upClint said:Its pretty much like a 200 block except the bores are the same thinkness as a 205.Cossie_Phil said:

Oh i remember that now mark, how many times did you have the engine in and out
nice
I have never built an engine even with a 200 block that dosnt need the pistons machined to obtain proper tollerences, however the 202 block is about 0.75mm short. This however is quite handy as I like to use Cosworth Group A pistons and once everythings machined up you end up with a higher CR, using a 4x4 head I have 7.8:12quick4u said:It's also a bit shorter bore height than a 200 or 205 I found when doing mine, will need the piston crowns licking down a bit or they make noises when it warms upClint said:Its pretty much like a 200 block except the bores are the same thinkness as a 205.Cossie_Phil said:
