They can be adjusted to 2.5 degrees camber and 3mm toe in but you need to choose what you are after as the hub is made to suit

          Almost right Jono,

For your car we are using the top spec kit in this housing size (700 Series)

The camber can be change by replaing the spindle for one with a different angle (up to 3 degrees negative)

The toe in can be changed by replacing the toe wedge for one with a different angle (up to 2mm per side)

So the kit is not adjustable in situ (like an adjustable TCA for example) but changes can be made in around 10-20 minutes per side depending how handy you are with the spanners.

We usually recommend around 2.5 degrees of camber with 1mm per side toe in for (Escort sized) circuit racers and tarmac rally cars, but for gravel cars the toe is much more important, so we normally use up to 2mm per side toe in, and 0.5 to 1 degree negative camber.

These kits work really well, and we have a had a large number of customer going 2 seconds quicker per lap after fitting these with no other changes, and one guy who recently went over 3 seconds quicker than previous at Bathurst.

I've had the diff housing fabricated by mark at race products and it looks the goods, I made some brackets for the Reiger remote canisters to be fixed to and the atlas watts link setup has been made to fit the diff by taking the rear of the housing off on a milling machine. It's off to powder coat and I'll get some more pics as it all gets assembled

                  Re: Moistys mk2 rally car

I just got the diff from race products and it is better than i hoped, they are just finalising the brakes for it and it will be all done, i have booked the car in at motec queensland to have the pdm programed the M4 to be tuned and dyno run on the 11th of july so it is nearly there, i am taking the car to a mates shop to do the alignment, am i better of doing the front end them setting the diff of that?
i have to put a couple of pics up of the diff as it is awesome
I also got my shorter trumpets for the throttle boddies today from mountune, look nice in black, petty no one will see them

Very cool mate.....Would love to see this out at Border ranges Rally on the 2nd August? That's my cars first proper gravel event and a round of the NSW and QLD Rally Championships...Have you heard all the goings on with Classic in Australia? Hoping your and my Duratec's will be ok for Classics next year!

Would love to get Race products to do the Floater kit on my Hilux axle but alas it will stay as it is until I start winning and that's not going to happen unless we had some tarmac lane rallying here!

Out of Interest...what's your take on running Grp4 studs or the ones from Race Products? I have Race Products ones on the back but Grp4 on the front.

                          Hi Mark
i made up some threaded spacers to go on the rear studs so i can run my grp4 rims and keep the wheel nuts, 1/2inch unf, the same front and back

Yeah I bought the adaptor wheel nuts for the back....but I'm wondering if nowadays the normal wheel studs are strong enough not to bother with GRP4's?

Car has done the 1100km trip to Motec Queensland to have the Pdm programmed and the dash and be put on the rollers. It got started last yesterday but the thermostat didn't open so waiting for the local Mazda or ford dealer to open to get a new one.
I will be flying back down on Tuesday for the power runs and I'll put up some video if it doesn't go bang

So the engine got 233rwhp@ 7500 but the gearbox bolts to the bell housing came loose so he has pulled stumps till Monday morning he said the torque is massive and I'm going to have trouble getting traction on gravel, so that sounds like a bit of fun. It is killing me that I'm not there to see.
Vid and the dyno sheet on Tuesday
