Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Hi, I haven't used it enough to know yet. I've only done a few miles in it really. Hopefully will learn a bit more about it at next rally on February 9th. Good luck with yours

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Thanks Luke, I'll have a good read of that.Good luck with it, they definitely have the fun factor, and Fairfield should keep things tip top for you. Here's the thread on my old one matt, I'd deffo consider changing to a jp4 with the j4 cams as a starting point for for some cheap power. There's also some good info on the 106rallyeforum too.

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Sounds like your enjoying the 106, I've just bought a cup car so I can get back rallying as work keeps holding me back from finishing the Mk2!
Do you find it tries to oversteer a little on throttle lift off? Been told this a trait but not driven mine in anger yet!Leave a comment:

Nice car Matt, looks great on the compomotives ! I've always had a soft spot for the 106's.
Have you seen the Colin Satchell GSXR conversion?

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Nice GSXR throttle body kit is what I'd really like next!

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Yeah, it's much more of a proper Tarmac set up whereas the Rover was used for gravel rallies and road rallies before I had it so suspension set up had to be a bit more all purpose.Leave a comment:

Is the handling really better than the rover with its all round coil springs?Leave a comment:

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Hi Luke,
I guess reliability is always the risk with a French car! Must say that it's very impressive to drive though. Fairfield will be running it so I'm confident that they will minimise reliability issues.
Hope all is good with you.
Cheers

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
ahh here it is. Very nice, didn't realise you failed to start pembrey. Great cars but reliability issues made me get shot of mine in the end. Hopefully with your uprated drivetrain your luck will be a bit better. I must admit, I do fancy a 106 cup car.Leave a comment:

If you want a set of discs I do a conversion kit for around the price of 1 AP disc!! I had these on my cup car and also on one that has done the BRC challenge and neither of us had any problems. If you are interested PM me your email addressLeave a comment:
