Not a lot to report this weekend. Due to other commitments, all i managed to do was get the crank trigger for the management fitted

Ordered all the plugs and cable for the managment so should be making the loom for it soon

lovely dry sump solution there, think I might just have to copy that if you don't mind.

I ran one behind my radiator on the Caterham which was putting out about 270bhp and had no problems with oil temperature even in 45'c ambient conditions in Dubai.

Which brand/model of tank did you use?

Thats a worry - guess who's car is in one of the bays

Good to meet Andy, his old man and the team on Saturday - was also reasuring to see that they all look away when Gary has an air-saw in his hand just like I did last week

Looks great, like the way the pipes run forward around the front of the rad. I was worried they were gonna be the biggest headache. Nice base too, will be very secure

    Looking good Andy

But why is Gary working on the floor when he's got two ramps?

Right, update time. Things are going to start moving at a quick pace from now on.

Saturday was spent at Retro's workshop, with the task of getting the drysump tank mounted in the engine bay.
Gary doing what he does best

Slight notch in inner wing for tank clearance

New 35a alternator in position to check for clearance

    Inner wing notch filled in

While Gary was messing about, i started getting the throttle bodies in place ready for the wiring loom to be created next weekend

The dry sump tank base being made and installed

    Tank in place

    Plenty of clearance

I think the Imp was semi spaceframed.

Still not sure why Allan (Mini) turned in on Andy maybe he thought he was clear of him.

Good video, can't believe Andy was beaten by a Hillman Imp (or 1 or that range)

Was having a clear out of stuff and found some footage on an old video camera from the early 2000s.

Tut Tut them Fords are dangerous I think that Allan wanted to inspect Andys car a bit closer.
