Nick, hows the car coming along?

Do you have any pics of your seat mounts, I'm trying to work out a better way to mount my one lower but the sierra floor pan is not exactly flat, especially by the tunnel

This is a picture of the seat mount.We have made a cut at the tunnel as you can see,and it is a lot lower than standart.Here we have to race with FIA regulations seat mounts,but these are much more stronger !!!!

Thaks Nick, that looks very nice. I had a look at some other RS500s yesterday and everyone has mounted their seats differently but none of them seem much lower than mine. I might just hold off until I buy a fancy new seat at the end of the year and make something like yours except they will probably run along the floor instead of across it

Check if it safe this way,along the floor ,in a side impact.

About the car ,we have just finished most of the engine,But now its vacation time ,and we will start again in a couple of weeks.....

Stunning work as usual, the attention to detail, especially on the engine, is amazing

I see you have the same sierra engine mount brackets as me, do you use vibra technics alloy mounts, mine seem pretty good Some people just use solid mounts instead but I'm not sure yet if I like that idea, at least mine have a bit of rubber in them to take out the vibrations
