Exactly Graham, I'm not doing this for profit, I'm doing it to build a quick and reliable track car. At least this is a genuine cosworth with history, it will never be worth nothing and will be worth more the longer I have it.
Might have to start a new thread, have spent a couple of days stripping the 'bare' shell and so far I have thrown 3 black bags out not including the heater and headlining! Still got boot space to empty then I can carry on getting it rolling..

Hi David, I've just bought a 2 door Sierra, I'm looking for a bonnet, not sure if you would part with one but thought I would ask?
I'm going to check out your new thread too
My bonnet did survive as it was just a skin so went back to shape once openned despite all 3 bonnet pins being ruined and bent flat! Not sure what I'm doing with it all but I should know soon so I'll keep you updated

You mean the black one presumably? I'm not keen to be honest.
I wondered if you had a good standard one? Either a vented Cosworth type or standard mk1 Sierra.
The original on the 2 door I just got is going on the leading edge and underneath where the bonnet sits on the stay is very bad.
I don't do std, sorry. My black one was designed to get heat out above the turbo and let air in on the cold side, the steel one was mint but went years ago..
