Reworked the complete wiring these days and cut out all cables switches and relais i don´t need

wiring weighs a lot! i stripped a complete loom out of a sierra once, very surprised how heavy it was.

cars coming on a treat, monster arches!

A little update:
Wiring done
exhaust done
exhaust tunnel done

waiting for my paket from evodave (classic and rally spares)

putted a standart engine in today to testdrive the new suspension and the new brake system

put the fuel regulator in the back

still so much to do don´t really know if I get all done

Hi, these wires connected to the fuseholders will come loose due to vibrations ...
And if you connect the common +12V like that the first wire has to take all the current of the subsequent fuses so it will get hot.

i used a wall paper scraper to get rid of the underseal then wiped it over with turps.
takes forever.
keep at it.

i think the underseal will stay because we had only 8 weeks to the first race. Yesterday the new TCA´s got mounted and I try to mount a panhard rod here´s the result:

We put a standart engine in to drive the pedalbox adjustment and to get the suspension adjusted.

nearly a complet car. it´s a 75 1.3.

What is the plan for it? Use all the 4 door bits on it? Or use the bits off this one for the 4 door?

the body is pretty solid. we have all the rusty parts as new panels.
The plan is building the 2 door shell as new racecar. Building the shell up over the year and put all the spares from the 4 door in it at the season end.

Today we got the engine back from the builder he reworked it and put another camshaft in. maybe we wen´t to a wheel and tyre store over the weekend and get the suspension adjusted.

Another month has gone and the car still doesn´t run. We have many smaller problems but the biggest problem we have is that the crank sensor doesn´t work anymore. It wasn´t easy to get a new one because nobody really know´s from which car it is so we finally bought one straight from Van kronenbourg. It should be here at Wednesday last week but nothing happend yet.
So the car doesn´t run we can´t go to the dyno and adjust the rebuild engine and we can´t test drive the suspension set up and the new brakes.
Don´t look like a good season this year

Today we had everything we need and all the stuff done. So we started the engine. Nothing happend fuel was there, had a spark etc. So we checked a few things on the engine. So we liftet the engine cover checked the timing and the valve adjustment. And look what I saw:



the pushrods hit the hole

I think we need another engine builder

At first glance it looks like the rocker arms are in the wrong position...............but I know next to nothing about X-Flow Engines.

We tried a few things with a orginal roller cam the pushrods are correct. The one we have fitted is from burton power. Standart lift.
