Glad to hear it Russ, I defected to the dark side and built a Vauxhall XE in search of more power than the old engine but actually preferred racing my car with the Crossflow fitted so it will soon be going back in...... Did your son recover from his fall in the end?

Enjoyed reading your posts, noticed you haven't updated on here for sometime are you continuing racing the mk1 this year?

I raced it once with the CSCC modsports and special saloons at Brands, lacking time, budget and enthusiasm to do anymore this year.

nick have you tried to take the front indicators out and replace with ducting to front calipers? 95% of brake problems is due to over heating of pads.

Hi John, I don't suffer from brake problems (AP 4 pots), Jezz (Toymex) has suffered from flexing/leaking Wilwoods on his racer.

Also qualified 1st in class just ahead of Andy Woods Dean, what brakes have you gone for?

Trying the old ones again but it's not looking good haven't got the time to sort brackets if I get ap,s and the wilwoods won't fit
