    Re: My Mk1 Fiesta XR2

Completed the pedal box install tonight.

Radtec called to tell me that the radiator will be delivered tomorrow. Hows that for customer service? In 25 years of modding and dealing with suppliers, no one has ever called me to let me know of a shipping date.

That'd be a great place to test out the new power. However, I'm basically spending this years competition budget on improving the Fiesta, so I may not be out competitively, time will tell.

What are you planning to do this year?

Wifey says the Radtec radiator has arrived

And I've got a Smart car today as a courtesey car whilst the A6 is in for its annual service/valet.

Smart car - so bad, on so many levels! I was laughing so hard I almost had to stop to wipe the tears away from my eyes. And people actually buy these things?

Went home to check out the radiator. Seems to fit very snugly in the engine bay. Pics tonight.

                Re: My Mk1 Fiesta XR2

Radiator pics as promised. Its absolutely stunning. Top work Radtec.

Will need to shove the engine about a cm back towards the bulkhead, which is easy enough to do. The solenoid on the starter motor is too close to the radiator fan for my liking, but its not insurmountable. And the trumpets on the Titans are rather close to the top of the rad, as I hadn't factored on the depth. Not show stoppers anyway.

                Very highly recommended.

I'm getting married in July so I'm also on a limited budget this year, I definitely aim to do at least one Epynt after my gearbox failure last year and a few other events I like just going to be choosy really.

                      Weighs feck all too

Clearance issues with the Titan trumpets. I hadn't accounted for the depth of the rad (50mm). The trumpets sit about 1cm above the top of the radiator. SO I'll push the engine back, and tilt it backwards, which will solve that, the alternator clearance, and the starter motor solenoid clearance issue, which will also help with the weight distribution too.

When its all fettled, the car will have the exhaust made.

Will get some quotes before comitting. What do you think of the Pumaspeed manifold?
