Should be able to do a stoppie now with those brakes on the front. Mahoosive.

How much weight have you added, through the larger disks and bells and all the other stuff?

The rotor and bell combo is 1kg lighter per side than the single piece disc I had last year, even though I have increaced the disc diameter by 10mm and is 4mm wider. The calipers are slightly heavier, about 300g, but should be a massive improvement over the hi-specs.

I've designed some to be made, just lacking a bit of money! lol

Certainly gets annoying after two years having to manually centre them every time you put a wheel on!

Car is looking superb now. Very nice colours and stunning build quality. I had a modified blue zetecS on the road a while back and they are cracking cars. Ideal platform for a racer.

Bet you cant wait to drive it again now

tbh i bought some off of ebay and they werent all that heavy, cost me about £15

dont need em now though, the compomotives clear my brakes

As of 15/02/10

Skirts fitted, mirrors fitted, front arches flaired to fit the 16's (if gearing requires them), rear topmounts fitted.

I really like this car and the thread is a great read. I love how tuneable these engines are, although its a lot of money due to lack of existing stuff, but well worth it.
i want a 1.6 in my mk1 at some point due to the silly light weight of the engine.
keep us updated throughout the season please, i'm sure you'll do well
