    His work is very good, would recommend.

    Some of the shiny bits are stating to go on now;

    Axle rebuilt with 4.6 cwp

    Brakes on

    Coilovers and axle on

        The short answer is no. He's still having teething problems with the car. Driving home from the fabrication shop the car developed a bad missfire so he changed the plugs and leads and i went again but she died not long after of a foocked fuel pump.
        So he bough a pump and filter and sh went again only to be greeted by his panhard rod tower detaching it's self from the car. It looks like who ever done it didn't get enough penitration into the floor pan of the car. I'm guessing when the springs were on it wasn't under as much pressure but as soon as the springs were gone the panhard was taking all the force.

            Have you been following me fred haha. Not having much luck at the moment, only got as far as the start of bargoed mountain so far, so i think epynt is out of the equation, its a shame as i really fancied the hill climb. Looks like a watts linkage is now on the cards now. You still doing it mat?

                          Been trying to tidy up the car a little while I'm waiting for it to go into alwyns for the watts conversion. I gave the inside a quick paint in satin black, made up an ally centre console, fitted a few switches and made a drivers foot plate from some diamond plate.

                              Things are starting to move along again, I found some black carpet in the attic so after a few attempts I got some fitted and put the seats and harnesses back in. The watts linkage has also been fitted at zakham engineering and the car is mobile again. It's booked in for a tweek to the map next week and then it's only paint to sort, I'm still undecided as to wether I should have a go of the paint myself or not.

                              I also re-sealed the sump with some new gaskets but its still seeping from the back so it looks like it is the crank seal

                                Managed to get out for a bit of fun on an local autotest last week, car stood up to the punishment and scorching well. Was a good fun day out.

                                https://www.facebook.com/luke.morgan.940/posts/10152042844894815

                                Before the autotest I noticed a tiny grind when the car goes into gear, so I took the box off to investigate. I thought it might be a clutch problem, but apart from low gearbox oil and some flywheel wear everything looked ok. I rang up ap to check the paddle clutch thickness and that was good so it must be something inside the box. While it was apart I converted the gearbox to "quick release", skimmed the wear from the flywheel, replaced the gearbox mount, fitted my arp flywheel bolts, replaced the thrust bearing and put it back together with some fresh box oil. After all that work the little grind didn't go away. Im not sure if its the nature of a 1970's gearbox or if its anything serious, if it starts to get any worse I will send the box off for a freshen up.
                                While the box was off I found a little pinhole in one of the sump welds, so I sealed it and that's finally stopped my oil leak.
