Re: One for GRAHAM
here it is, its not in my lock up yet, but will be in a weeks time, ive left a deposit on it. im not paying the asking price, but even so need to find plenty of stuff to sell to pay for it, as im having to nick the money out my business fund. Anyone want a Bandit 1200?
im not overly fond of the box arches but think they will stay, especially in lieu of it having had a recent respray, mind you its going to take massive wheels to fill those arches, especially the rears, those 7x15's are lost in them.
yes it definatly has got my suspension, ledas, adjustable arb and rear beam, unfortunatly it has a std 4 speed box and bog std 105bhp 318i engine.
tbh ive no immediate plans for it as such, racing simply isnt an option right now. but i am thinking about it!
qmn class E is an option, and the best way to go would be a 2.0 version of my old m3 engine, but im not going to spend s14 money, next best option would be a huge cc 8v m10.
if i do anything though its most likely going to be a 2.0 8v m10, because it leaves more doors open to race in various different series and perhaps some historic stuff. having built various capacity over 2.0 long stroke m10's , im now tempted to raid the bmw parts bins and build a short stroke 2.0, my last 2.0 m10 made peak power @7800 on a 89.5 x 79.5mm (std is 89x80), using the bmw parts bin i could build one thats 1971cc 94x71 that really would rev!Comment

Re: One for GRAHAM
its home
huge box arches, 7x15 wheels, an inch thick wheel spacer and thers still room for another 3,4 inches of wheel,
thinking of going onto 10x13 hotrod wheels
not much interior! still it makes it easy to see the floor and sills, its had a bit of welding but its not in escort league thankfully,
its got the rear half of a cage sitting in it, i also got the rest of the cage with door bars, but that will be sold, a proper weld in multipoint will be fitted
rather messy 105bhp e30, 1.8m10 injection engine install, still it will provide some handy spares, and sits on brand new expensive poly mounts.
when it comes its replacement will be a 2.0 m10, target power 220+bhp
rose jointed adjustable front arb
shiney fuel tank, soon to be for sale
final proof rear end is mine, beam has been lightened, and is adjustable for camber and has red race poly bushes, drive shafts with lightened cv joints
