Hi Luke, not sure, John is off competing in Belgium this weekend so I guess it's on hold until he gets back.

    He seems pretty confident.

Nav doing first ever event too so good chance of sick in the car!

It has some headwork, Newman cams and AT Throttle Bodies and a rolling road printout from December showing 176bhp and 182 of torque.

I think with that in and the Satchshift fitted she should be much improved for Caerwent!

      Cheers

The bhp sounds spot on but the torque soundsa like nm not ft/lbs to me if its ft:lbs you have a monster of a 1600 engine still good figures though.

Are you coming down next week then?
I know, it's a nightmare. Much easier to hand it over to Uncle John and let him sort!

I got no idea! Carrots have better technical knowledge than me! I'm hoping Terry might get it fitted while John's away but trying hard not to go up there and nag!

Then entry list for Sunday's Tour of Caerwent Rally has been released and we are seeded at car 70 out of 87, hopefully will finish a bit higher than that.

                        Cheers

He's back from Belgium tonight so hopefully he'll crack on with it tomorrow. Engine fitting hasn't started yet but I'm sure it won't take long.
                            What are you buying? 48s?

Oh well, a mixed day on Tour of Caerwent, was enjoying the car and building up speed but a shaft let go at the end of stage 4 so it was an early bath.
On the plus side, the engine is great and I really enjoyed driving the car and am starting to get used to it so hopefully all will go better at Talbenny in 3 weeks.
