Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
It was bloody rough as bum down there on Sunday wasn't it Matt. At least we both had a better round than the last one and came away with some silverware. Onwards and upwardssigpic Instagram: A86_Motorsport Facebook: A86MotorsportComment

Felt that apart from the technical issues we were much quicker than normal so looking forward to Dale!Comment

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Really enjoyed the Dale Stages a fortnight ago and it was the best event of the year for us so far. After 2 stages we were in the mid 20s which I have never achieved before and judging by some of the cars that retired later in the afternoon I think a finish in the very early 20s would have been on the cards which would have been my best ever result. Guess what though, it didn't happen! We had a puncture very early on in stage 3 so had to do almost a whole stage on it, I wasn't carrying a spare as stages were fairly short and as it turned out we lost about 3 mins and I don't think I could have changed it quicker than that anyway! The puncture dropped us to dead last but a good push in the afternoon got us back to 34th and 4th in class which I think was ok overall. The car was fantastic to drive and some of the times we set were really pleasing even taking time out of an Impreza on almost every stage. Hope I can build on this now and next events are Epynt Hillclimb on June 15th and then Brawdy Stages on 13th July.
Thanks for reading

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Epynt Hillclimb tomorrow, looking forward to it. Always a fun day and more relaxed than a rally so I'm sure we'll have a laugh.
Three car team from Fairfield Motorsport, me, an Evo 6 and a Sierra Cossie so suspect I will be bringing up the rear!Comment

Re: Peugeot 106 Cup Car
Hillclimb was great fun, ended up 2nd in class with a best time of 71.09 which was nearly 8 secs faster than last year. Class winner was a mk2 with an all steel cross flow that sounded fantastic and as about 2 secs quicker than me over the mile. Blew my last run by braking ay too late into last corner and making a mess of it so will have to back and try again next year!!Comment
