    Cheers, going up to Track and road as Ive used Steve Greenald for years and its only up the road.

    Got exhaust manifold lambda boss welded thanks to Frank Frostick, fitted some titanium heat wrap, thanks to the Mrs! and got the downpipe and system all fully fitted. List is getting smaller!

    Almost everything on the list completed, just one more bit of heat shielding and the gearbox and starter to fit now.
    Should have a bit more progress this week

    Breather pipes on, throttle cable now converted to race type as std one wouldnt fit and was a bit short, plugs fitted and heat mat bought to start shielding everything on the hot side.
    New 3 bar map sensor fitted and plugged in too

    Not a deadline as such, just asap really. Wanna do a whole test day once its mapped just to check everything as so much is new now.
    Not getting enough time on it so progress isn't as rapid as I'd like

    Thanks Ian, yeah progress has been pretty good thanks to mocking everything up prior to getting the engine. As usual though the obvious stuff has gone in really quick and it will be the little details that cause holdups, but so far so good

    Quick recap of what went in yesterday along with the engine;

    - Alternator and belt (as before but with drop bracket)
    - Exhaust manifold, with all new aerotight nuts and new studs
    - Turbo, nut and bolted with aerotights, damper fitted
    - Inlet, throttle body and dump valve
    - All coolant hoses and swirl pot
    - All fuel hoses
    - All boost hoses and air filter
    - Most vacuum hoses
    - New magnicore 8.5mm leads
    - Strut brace
    - Turbo oil feed and all oil pressure lines
    - Oil cooler hoses
    - Engine loom all plugged in
    - Amal valve wired and piped in

    Jobs to do next;

    - Turbo drain pipe (forgot!)
    - Fit map sensor
    - Fit clutch cable
    - Make throttle cable
    - Fit gearbox
    - Modify pinto high torque starter with new baseplate
    - Buy spark plugs
    - Start heat shielding, lots of heat shielding
    - Breather plumbing

    Busy couple of weeks then lol...

    Some more pics from yesterdays effort, even gave the car a quick wash once it was all done

    Still got to fit gearbox and starter, clutch cable and throttle cable (which I'm gonna have to modify or replace)
