Hi Gaz sorry if i didnt speak to much was playing with the linkage which if you read the thread has been a long standing issue still all sorted now as for the car it is not wide track although it has been built with the capability of going wide track if we feel the need as for the brakes they are compbrake 4 pots, now i have got the right pads i have got to say they are really impressive although the kit didnt fit first time ,they are not cheap and for a bit more money you could get AP,s

looks really well built, was having a nose round while you were checking the linkage and asked alot of question by the magazine guy lol,
went well around the track also,
are you running wide track as well as the huge wheels? lol
what brakes are you running under the 13's? would you recommend them? as there isn't a huge choice.
    cheers

Is well handy if you can run the car round there as at least you can check everything works and feels right before sticking it out on track. How did you manage to get on there, or shouldn't I ask?
DW, you 'phone the track to book in and then pay around £25 for either an am or pm session, you wont necessarily go out on your own though.

    Re: my new nova

I managed to get the day off work yesterday ,and drag the nova down to essex to bed the engine in,we had a couple of really minor issues, cant get full throttle for some reason,i will have to investigate that 1 and a very slight gear change issue that was easily sorted, the car ran faultlessly temps and everything were spot on ,did a few gentle laps to get the temps up then a few upto 4k then a few more upto 5k then a few more upto just under 6k ,this was when i noticed you couldnt get full throttle,Andy took her out for a few laps he was impressed with his engine how it seems to pull cleanly from as little as 2.5k even though the cams are fairly lairy, and he was even more impressed with how the car drives in general which to be fair is all his doing as all of the suspension components and setup was spec,ed by him

    Re: my new nova

Well i managed to get a few hours on the nova yesterday fitted my new lightweight alternator ,just need to alter the wiring as it needs an ignition live,Andy sorted me a new hub so i fitted a new bearing gave it a clean and paint fitted it to the car and exactly as Andy said the tracking came back to where it normally is, i was a bit sceptical as although i had hit the curb i didnt really think i hd hit it with enough force to bend it ,how wrong you can be so i need to source a few spare hubs for the future.
I managed to get the car out of the tent and take a couple of pics god knows what size they will be as my camera seems to change its mind everytime

I am hoping to get a day off work this week and go and do a few miles to bed the engine in then its a trackday or 2,does anyone know if there is still trackspace available for ford fair and wether i am allowed to run a vauxhall
