I see from Davids thread you're out on the 12th Jezz, have you changed much else on the car?

No pictures but it's about done ,suspension all set up and corner weighted its a bit heavier than before but should be a fair bit stiffer ,I can't believe how much the shell has moved with the welding the strut brace wouldn't fit by about 2mm

We all know what its like to loose enthusiasm, but don't give up now, you need to test the car this year to come out fighting early next year.

    Keep it up!
Cheers for the comment, unfortunatley there is not a lot of the old sport left in this car ,but the sport was a great car to drive and had some serious money spent on it

    Re: my new nova

I have been slowly plodding on ,enthusiasm and funds dwindling

I have repainted the bonnet as it was a bit rough and have painted the door

I had plumbed the fuel lines for injection and had a swirl pot welded on my tank ,but after Andy stripped the head down he was so impressed with how well it was running that he suggested that we keep it on carbs for the short term so i ripped all the plumbing out and re-did it for carbs

I made a quick throttle stop for the pedal box,and started on the steering column,

Need to sort a custom throttle cable and i still havent sorted a new clutch plate but the engine rebuild is progressing ,i am just waiting on a head stud kit then it can go back together ,and i need to get my door back from Berkshire bodyshop as i asked them to have a go at straightening the damage i got at Silverstone out and paint it ,so its going in the right direction ,i really hope to get a shakedown booked for this year
