I got them cheap from an auto-jumble years ago - as I knew Demon Tweeks charged something like £100 for a set of stays!!!!!
I might have some spare, I'l take a look over the weekend for you....
Cheers,

This lark is never easy is it. Just when the car is looking like it "might" be ready on time (fingers firmly crossed for Saturday's startup), my co-driver has gone missing.......I reckon he's scaredComment

Re: Paul Alex's character building, pain-in-the-ar5e, bufty money pit
Probably true Dave
Had the afternoon on the car today and got all the gauges lashed-up ready for the weekend. Once they were looking like they were behaving, I fired up the electric water pump so that I could check the water system for leaks. - all good
Finished off by cracking off the oil unions to check the running-in oil had worked its way down from the tank, then primed the oil system using an electric drill. I'm now seeing oil on the scavenge side of the system, so I reckon we're almost ready for the first fire-up on Saturday
If all goes to plan on Saturday, the rest of the weekend will be tidying the loom and re-fitting the interior - then it's MOT time on Tuesday
More soonComment

Monteberg Rallysprint - 11th/12th May.
I have the feelers out now, plus am sure the Belgium team who'll be helping out over the weekend will be able to spread the word too. I'm not overly worried yet, i'm more focused on making sure the new engine installation goes smoothly this weekend.....
More news after tomorrows attempts to fire her up....Comment
