Have now fitted some 75mm radiused air intakes into the headlamp perspex covers. The o/s one feeds directly into the airbox and the n/s one feeds some handy cool air to my now relocated remote oil filter.
The oil filter is located to allow the best possible pipe runs from the engine to the oil cooler which I have fitted under the inner wing. The cooler gets air from the n/s spotlamp apature and isnt actually that close to the tyre as the pic suggests. I will be fitting a mesh and plastic guard to the cooler just to be sure that no stones or rubber off the tyre will hit it.
