Although its 'only' around 245bhp that is on a pretty standard engine which must make it a lot more driveable than some of the highly strung 300+ 16Vs out there, which I guess would help a lot in rallying. I know that in tricky conditions on a race circuit it is the more driveable engine that you'd want rather than something peaky and often less is more in that situation.

As has been said elsewhere, 255bhp is the figure that RED quote as what is seen on their dyno when using their latest map and throttle body spacers etc. Therefore, I'd imagine I probably only have around 245bhp.........
