Dont think you can really classify my engine bay as 'escort' anymore
However I have seen one with the 24v in it, wouldn't recommend it though as its too heavy and too far forward. My engine is 12" further back and sits with the front pulley behind the rack Again not something I would recommend unless you're building an all out racer as EVERYTHING must also be moved back a foot
I would still like a capri or sierra with one of these engines in it though as they're engine bays are more suitable and it would be a nice driveable road car

Hi Cyclops, glad you like the car. The old Group 2 zakspeed kit came I think from old ford auto services. The kit comes with arches and front spoiler and is inexpensive, but requires a lot of work to get a good fit.
Keep an eye on Markbs1's car as hes should be the nicest GP2 kitted car around (now that mines GP5 of course )
But you'll have to get a move on Mark, I think we've made this kit popular now and you got competition

Markb_s1: Thanks for let me build and do you have some pictures of your car for me?!? pray:
some of the pics aren't working but i think that should be sorted in a little while.
it has moved on a little bit from the end but nothing exciting - just some more primer inside and underneath and the engine's out, axle off... meantime i have been collecting bits and pieces so i can fit it up ready for paint
