Andy runs Tranex gears in his, and has to stick to that box due to Regulations ... what broke was the Synchro rings i belive

All that happened was a couple of syncro rings had a hairline crack in them, so were expanding and not letting me get gears. It was ok at low revs, but not high.

Box is lovely, but up for sale at the end of the season, along with engine

Had a bit of spare time today, so decided to give the underneath a coat of paint

Rest of car is going for paint inside and out on Sunday. Then its a mad rush to get it all back together for the 1st race

That's the annoying thing about Novas, they have a horrible tendency to be quite rapid.

Speaking of which, can you let me have an address to send this diff to, please? It's not finished yet, but it's the thought that counts, right? Or is it just going to Retro's?

even though im on andy's race team i could'nt help but notice a run on the rear floor pan piccy. but ace work gazzy on the cage...... if there is any other racer's that own mk 1 escort's and want that cage mod done go see gary about doing it because he is the best at doing them .... and when i saw the car when it was still in gary's i was over the moon with it minduo i think andy was even more over the moon when he saw it complete and ready to come home.... but he did help gary a bit like grinding the rear roll cage bar's off and helping with the one bar going / that way across the car.
