If mine needs to be altered then Andy can have mine and you can have his.
Or get Gary to make you a nice weld in one and weld the brackets on yourself, they are the best type
Sierra cosworth turbo race car QMN saloon car championship RETRO Motorsport
I was going to have a weld in one installed along with Gary's adjustable top mounts when i had the bigger gearbox tunnel installed. But the rule makers wont allow it and would put me in class A so didnt have the work done. Might do it over the winter and say bollox to them (sorry Mr Bahr). The rules now allow me to 5 link and turret, so might do that as well . Sorry Dave Roberts
No worries about the strut brace Andy.
Gary, why do you want to put bubbles on it?
Is it just because you like bubbles and have to put them on everything,
or is it for bigger tyres. The tyres are pretty large as they are aren't they?

Your not allowed to mention that book ....
We did think about doing a quick release to separate the bellhousing and box... maybe thats the way forward untill larger tunnels are not deemed a performance modification and its just to take the pains in the arris out of racing (not a dig at you Graham, its the way of the world and the new TRC rules are the most fair i've seen for ages) Luck has been with Andy and he hasnt had a total clutch failure or box failure in the last few years, its just with a 2 race format its a niggle that there may not be enough time between races to swap boxespray:
As for an Atlas.... until Andy runs BDA (anyone got one they need using instead of gathering dust ) torque through that English its staying put.... Unless Tom needs a tester for the the Hush Hush Light Weight Race Atlas
As for the bubbles... Andy runs a bit of rubber but he can still unstick the rear at will and he can lock the fronts, with a wider tyre we could go even softer and hence more grippier tyre .... shorter time on the brakes for the same retardation and possibly(probably) more speed through the apex. As Andy's car has no grunt to speak of all his gains have to be in the corners, the quicker he can get into them and around and out of them the better.... with the hope that hes allready a long way down the straights before the bigger boys want their bit of track back...
before the bigger boys want their bit of track back...
I've seen Andy racing, and wouldn't have thought he took much notice of what they wanted.
I saw him persistantly ignoring a fist waving chap in a black Nissan.
(I'm sure there is a pic of the occasion on here somewhere.)
Wouldn't putting bubbles on make the car a bit closer to the one alongside. More risk of paint swapping? Or is that another thing that gets ignored.
