Re: David White's - Mk2 Escort - Cosworth V6 Turbo
Took the car to Battlesbridge show today, unfortunately without the engine in place but not long now pray:
I think it generated a little interest, well its far too fat to miss really.
The week was spent rebuilding the car and once the lump is in the plumbing and wiring will follow
Here's some pics of it with a few of its decals, all of its windows and some fat rubber under the arches for a change

Re: David White's - Mk2 Escort - Cosworth V6 Turbo
Thanks Guys, have to say the old girl didn't look too bad with all its windows back in and headlamp covers on. I also started to put a few decals on and I'm just waiting for the rest to be made up.... dont tell the painter though cos hes supposed to be buffing the paint or something before i cover it in vinyl
Was good to see the car back on its wheels too, just a shame the trailer was too narrow for it and the old crappers had to go back on
And Graham, after watching your race on saturday........ I CANT WAIT TOO

Re: David White's - Mk2 Escort - Cosworth V6 Turbo
Bit of progress with the build lately, have 2 intercoolers now ready to fit in the car, the one piece front end is up at scuffs n stuff getting a little fettle
and yesterday rebuilt the front hubs so that I could fit these little babies
They are Hi Spec Monster 6 pot calipers on 335 x 32 mm discs
Luckily I picked them up from a guy in work who's son was gonna use them on a sierra (twin turbo ) so they are unused.
All that was required was a quick visit to Geoff at Hi spec to get a new set of centre bells and caliper brackets
