Few more quick pics from today;

We finished painting the bottom of the car and under the arches. Should be well protected for another ten years and looks pretty smart IMO



Inside of the car totally cleaned out, the whole car is completely stripped now, even down to the last rivet





Bodywork given a quick clean off now that all decals have been removed




Thats it, the car's all ready to go for its spell at the body shop tomorrow to give it a blow over and iron out the odd bit of battle damage

And yes.. this time Andy remembered to add 1 and 1 together to make 2 Pack this time... the last time he forgot one part...it was still wet'ish when these latest mods where done

He can put bubbles on it any time he wants, as long as he supplies another 8 wheels and tyres to fill them out

What spec head are you using.? I've just got my x-flow going with an ultra big valve head, seems like its made loads of difference to the power..

the block had a few little cracks in it, so thought best to replace

It has the biggest valves in it that you can get with off setting. The engine builder found that the inlet ports wernt opened out that much, so has done a little more porting.

Hoping to get between 155-160 bhp, and having a different cam to the A8 that was in there to get a little more low down torque

You seem to be getting some good power figures, have you thought about the A8+ cam.

With regards to porting, on my head they went so far there was a big hole through to the push rod holes on every inlet port. after the porting was finished some tubes were then pressed into the pushrod holes to seal up the ports..!! I've never seen this before on a x-flow, but it seems to work very well...
