    Re: my new nova

Looked good all weekend Jezz. Great to see a battle between 2 totally different cars, it looked like you had the advantage through the bends and Ian had the grunt down the straight in the focus. I believe he has 400+bhp so very well driven to keep up.

Cheers ,you are right I could corner a bit quicker but once on the straight he just pulled away ,but it was fun while it lasted,it certainly goes like it has 400 bhp ,well done on the 51 sec lap ,did you get any footage from your second race ,I need to study it to see your braking point into Paddock

Sounds like first couple of rounds went well Jezz , and the issue with the brakes looks like it has just occurred in the pic above

I think it was the nail in the coffin for the brakes !! I can't understand them fading as I hardly use them

Problem that I found when chasing Ian is that he brakes very early so I tend to have to brake harder to avoid running into the back of him

I guess it's a heavy old barge to slow down ,I still need to hone my braking points ,I am still braking way too early for paddock

                      Re: my new nova

I don't think I braked in the same place twice ,but the last time I raced I was aiming for the pit exit but was never brave enough

                        Re: my new nova

Its definitely a confidence corner. I try and tell myself to brake later and always exit thinking I braked too early.

                          Re: my new nova

Jezz likes the gravel trap there Neil, so it really is a confidence corner for him I brake, change down and turn in at the exit on the left. I never used think I braked much when I had the Princess 4 pots but since I've had decent brakes on my car I brake harder and later than before.
