    Re: my new nova

Well done on a stonking qualifying in todays DMN Jezza, not only did he do a giant killing act by qualifying 12th fastest out of at least 32 cars in the little nova, but he also beat most of the 'usual' giant killers. If I'm not mistaken he was above the likes of Bill Richards and Richard Brent which says it all.

Unfortunately a little trip into druids gravel trap ended his session early but worse still snapped his cam belt meaning an early bath. A big shame as his qualifying performance raised more than a few eyebrows and I for one can't wait to see this car do more of the same next year Keep at it mate

      Re: my new nova

Thanks for that Dave ,it was a bit of a bitter sweet qualifying for me first time i have driven the car in the damp ,let alone on slicks in the damp but the car was stunning to say the least,Massive thanks again go to AndY Tedder who sets the car up .
Took the car home early and Andy came round with his mate Tom ,whipped the head off and luckily there is no piston or head damage cams are in 1 piece and only the very slightest of witness marks on 1 piston ,so Andy is going to strip the head and check the valves . i will just have to wait to see how many are bent but i am hoping for just the 2
Roll on next year hopefully we will all be out and get a whole season in

Grahams correct, the sunstrip visor is allowed to carry advertising and logo's , but must still allow 250mm vertical clear view .. i belive only the drivers name and blood group can be displayed on the windows, exception is manufacturer/dealer applied graphics,
