Well its been a while since i updated this thread ,i have had trouble resizing pics so i havent bothered ,but i have been doing a few bits when i get the chance i have re wired the car as i was having trouble reaching the swtches on the console when i had my harnesses on (slight design fault)and i am going to run mapped ign on the new engine Steve at sbd has sorted a map for me should be about right ,just need a tweak when it is up and running while the engine is out i decided to attack the car with some proper diy style welding to make a mount for the dry sump tank Gary was going to do it but didnt have the space in the workshop and with time pressing on i had a go myself ,while trial fitting a dummy block i found the dry sump pump fould the chassis leg so out came the grinder to make a slight incision .
When we built the car originally it was our first attempt at painting and it was pretty rough tbh, so we had another go its not perfect but is a lot better than before so now i can start putting it back together
Hopefully here are a few pics of the engine bay now
