Is well handy if you can run the car round there as at least you can check everything works and feels right before sticking it out on track. How did you manage to get on there, or shouldn't I ask?
DW, you 'phone the track to book in and then pay around £25 for either an am or pm session, you wont necessarily go out on your own though.

Yes Nick is right Dave just phone them it was £35.00 for the day we were lucky as we were the only ones there you cant test everything only managed to get third so couldnt check all the gears but the engine got a workout and the brakes and general handling and at £35 if you cant sort any issues its not too costly like a test day or trackday,it was really good to get behind the wheel again its been nearly a year ,tried not to get too confident as the curbs are about a foot high and there is not much of a run off

Cheers Chaps, might be something useful for me in the future just to check the car is all working as it is only round the corner and that is dirt cheap. I'd only do it when there were no cars on track though

                      Re: my new nova

good to see this at combe yesterday after following the thread for ages,
looks really well built, was having a nose round while you were checking the linkage and asked alot of question by the magazine guy lol,
went well around the track also,
are you running wide track as well as the huge wheels? lol
what brakes are you running under the 13's? would you recommend them? as there isn't a huge choice.
                      cheers

Hi Gaz sorry if i didnt speak to much was playing with the linkage which if you read the thread has been a long standing issue still all sorted now as for the car it is not wide track although it has been built with the capability of going wide track if we feel the need as for the brakes they are compbrake 4 pots, now i have got the right pads i have got to say they are really impressive although the kit didnt fit first time ,they are not cheap and for a bit more money you could get AP,s

I had allready spun there in the earlier session, i really must learn to let the rear tyres get some temp before getting carried awayi had another moment coming onto the start finish straight that someone videoed that was proper funny ,the slicks i am using are about 10 years old and are a little tired

the car looks and went cracking on saturday got to give a massive thanks to andy the engine builder and on the day mechanic but a even bigger pat on the back to jezz not only for some serious hard work on the car but giving me the best drive as a passenger those who know me i am not often lost for words but feck me that boy can pilot that car and roll on some more seat time and some proper tyres and we are gonna be a serious threat to any one who wants to come and play
