Yeah really I didnt want to sell it as I had put so much time effort and money into it. Was a sad day to see it go

I had to, to raise the funds to do a close competitive national championship next year. I've already bought a car to do the 2011 Competition Car Insurance UK Ford Fiesta ST Championship. Its an ex Ben Roper and Mark Tilbury car, came 2nd in 07, 1st in 08, and 3rd in 09 and 10.



Its in pretty good condition, and mechanically has been looked after well, just needs tidying up in a few areas, but certainly an excellent base for a championship challenge.

The ST championship is based on a pretty standard car, which is exactly why I am doing it. Its more down to the driver. I want to concentrate on my racing more than building, developing and maintaining my car.

1.15.887 - The lap time set for pole position for round 8 on 30.08.10, THE FASTEST Castle Combe Saloon Car 2010. Not bad for a Fiesta.

Hello, i have just seen that you have changed your selector detent bolt. i have a fiesta 2001 1.25 zetec, and mine has just sheared off!! Where can i pick up another (standard) one from? As i can't use it until i find one. Plus, how much do i screw it into the gearbox to prevent it shearing apart?

Not available from Ford dealerships? I would say you can still get parts for 2001 cars. Especially to iB5 boxes. And that 1.25 is still in production.

Spent a few hours on Solidworks again this eveining.

First up was modeling the rear disc.

Is there any chance I could get a solidworks model of the rear disc ? as I think it may well be the solution to my rear disc issue on the Kadett
