Got quite a few more bits on the car today such as the silicone rad hoses, kenlow fan, alternator and Andy has done most of the car loom again as it was all slightly the wrong lengths compared with the escort it was meant for.
The alternator is a Jap unit off of ebay and the curved adjuster is a beautifully made item thats less than £15 from Burtons
Just need a new pulley for the alternator (Demon tweeks) and its all done.
Cold air feed pipe has a bracket to fix it to the air filter backplate (once drilled) and the naca duct in the bonnet also points straight at it

Cheers Matt, we are getting there a bit at a time, and trying to do it all properly as we go along to save redoing jobs later
Will let you know about testing for sure, not sure I'll keep up with you on the straights though

Starting to look TOO good to race,you lot don't fancy doing a rebuild on mine when you're finished? It could do with being done to a higher quality.

We will be there, but dont know about the car. Got 8 weeks till the second race, but seeing as we only work on it at weekends, its going to be tight

I would love to leave Ant locked in the garage for a couple of weeks but unfortunately he has his exams coming up soon and I don't want to be the reason he ends up working for mcdonalds instead of mclaren
