Right, Ray has been really busy knocking dents out of the car and getting it all straight. It's nothing short of a miracle what he has achieved as every single panel had dents and now you'd never know.

Inside of the car is all painted now, done in a very hard wearing satin white in contrast to the diamond white for the exterior. This should reduce glare when driving and be easy to keep looking good





New door bars fitted. These will be painted last.

We spent a few hours flatting the primer down and finally the old girl rolled into the spray booth for some diamond white. The photos don't do it justice due to the weird light in the booth but trust me even Ray was suprised how good it has come out

Thanks to everyone for their help doing the prepping and thanks to Ray for putting in loads of hours to get it to this stage this week, I think he's quite pleased with himself too

Cheers Still a lot of little bits to sort, like finishing the plumbing and wiring and exhaust so I guess the first round might be a bit too optimistic, but as soon as the car is back in our garage in a couple of days the rebuild will commence quickly

Ray has got a few more of the panels done today, just need another litre of paint (it's quite a lot bigger than an escort ) and the majority of it can be finished tomorrow ready to go to the garage to be fitted up









Still can't believe the finish of the paint, it is straight out of the gun and hasn't been touched as you see it here, and photos can't do it justice and that bumper is just hanging there for now as the paint was still wet
