Like Andy said I have had no input into the paint going on the car, I'm just there doing the flatting down with the others (donkey work )
The idea of the black bumpers was that we were just touching the car up and Ray would paint the kit but when he saw the car he said sod it we'll paint the whole lot. It's made for a lot more work and put us a bit behind but the car is better that I ever dreamed it could be and the finish will last for years, barring the odd bit of battle damage.

Got a couple of pics tonight but only on the phone, but at least you get an idea of the design that Ray has come up with.
The black is satin and it has orange pin stripes, kind of the opposite way round to my escorts stripes. Hope you like it, I love it and am glad now that Ray wouldn't let me know what he was doing.
Should be lots of updates by the weekend

Looks great that Dave, really nice mate, a testament to the hard work you're putting in!
Cheers mate, I can't get over how many people have bent over backwards to see the car get to this stage. I hope the result of it on track will make it all worthwhile for everyone involved.
Virtually everyone whos touched the car has added their own personal input so I hope they can feel proud about what we've created, as its fairly unique I think
