And look whats inside the engine bay, it's only LINFORD
A huge thanks goes to the Guru, Graham Bahr, who has worked his nuts off to get Linford ready for me.
He has prepared the engine to a stunning level and I can't wait now to get it on the rollers to see the results and hear it bark
Thanks Graham, lets just hope i don't wipe the floor with your Beemer to badly
The full build up of the engine can be seen here, if you haven't seen it give it a read, it's a great write up and very educational;
kind of you to say dave, i havnt tried to reienvent the wheel with this just hopefully give david an engine which does a good job and makes reasonable power, to be honest i think to give class leading performance bearing in mind the size of a sierra something really tick would be needed, and as such i havea few ideas up my sleeve, but for now i just want to see dave on track
The good thing is graham that we (you ) are free to develop a new top end while I get as many miles as possible out of the current spec.
I still think that what you've built will be pretty special and as for the weight of the sierra i might be able to shed some light on that soon hopefully, and with a bit of luck it won't be too lardy
Sierra cosworth turbo race car QMN saloon car championship RETRO Motorsport
I was thinking about building a race car to do some racing or even buying one nearly done but where do i find the rules so i know what sort of car i will need and what class i would be racing in, i fancy doing something like this as the expense should hopefully not be as bad as the top spec turbo stuff
