Great day out, i though Andy also said that his rev limiter was at 7500 as well in race one?

I think the limiter had actually got knocked round to 7000 ish, which with this engine is a big power loss and effectively ruins the gearing too

Probably my fault as I was the one contorted on that side of the car messing with the pedal box from hell for the best part of an hour. And to think i might be putting an escort one in the sierra

I think we may find a better way to make sure the rev limiter isn't altered but for know you can be damn sure it gets checked in the collecting area before EVERY race, as will the bias adjuster...

You know what was good about qualifying on sunday... Andy was 1.88 seconds behind Ron Kiddell's Nissan Skyline

I'm looking forward to lydden, it's not our best track as it always seems hard to get a good setup, but I've heard a lot of the other teams saying the same thing too so we're all in the same boat really.

It quite suits powerful light fwd cars like Bill Richards Mini and of course Richards super pug as rwd cars do spend a good percentage of the lap a bit sideways where the fwd cars just drag themselves out of the bends. Although lately Andy has got the car really hooked up round there so with a bit of luck the better gearing, larger footprint and a couple of bhp extra might give us a good chance. Especially once Andy is used to driving the car with front brakes again
