                                                        Good news is Ray the painter is making a speedy recovery and wants to start the car next week, so today we finished the prepping, removed the gearbox (ready to go off for a tran x kit) and i also trial fitted the new steering column.
                                                        Gary made up the column with a new adjustable mount so that we can get the height of the wheel perfect. It also has an SPA quick release hub and is also a bit longer than the std column
                                                        Gary also welded up the door bars for me so they are now ready to be welded into the car
