At a guess those revolutions are normally et0 on the 8x15's and et-24 or -25 on the 9x15's (rear, white ones)

Thanks for that. just need to find a pair now. I've got 8x15 et0 for the fronts but couldn't bring myself to get the rears in case I screwed up the ET.

Thats in the boot Roger We want one in the engine bay, as specified in all of HT's racecars

Besides we don't have a firewall so apart from long pipe runs, we still couldn't run it in the boot without boxing it in.

Why would u put it in the bay ?

I cannot think of a technical advantage of having it there.

Shorter pipe runs and no need for firewall as far as i can tell roger

As Dave says, shorter pipe runs means simpler plumbing, less weight and HT always spec this format for there race cars and they have produced more successful pinto and xflow based circuit cars than anyone i can think of.

Like i say we dont have a firewall either so boxing the tank in and fitting really long pipe runs is just adding a load of weight we don't need.

My sierra will also have its tank in the bay, although i do have more than enough space for the std type

Ruger, there is a reason why we do things and it aint for the fun of it. Why do you question what most people do?

Well I managed to find a bit more space in the engine bay now for the dry sump tank, and maybe something else...
