Apologies if you have already said,
what series are you racing in, where and when?
Would like to come and watch sometime.

it will be out in the Dunlop track and race car championship, the championship caters for every thing from fiesta's and X/flow powered mk1 escorts AKA Andy Pipe to fire breathing monsters, like Rod Birleys 541bhp WRC Escort and John Cross's V8 Eurocar engined Focus

Thats looking very handsome Mr Bahr. Wish we'd made it to the rollers now to see it.

I'm sure thats gonna suprise quite a few people this year.

Did you run without the pas last year, and is that a quick rack??

dont look too close at the paintwork diabolical would be too kind a word for but but its ok from a distance.

yes i ran without pas last year, car was non power in the first place, so a power rack is a bit quicker, but without the hydralics isn't heavy.
in my opinion and experience you dont really need a quick rack on a tarmac race car as long as you can get it to turn in properly, on slicks on tarmac is if you cant recover a slide with half turn of lock or less you not going to ,quick rack or not!

thats not to say they dont have there place they do particulary on the loose, i guess it also has to be born in mind most beemers arn't as tail happy as escorts

its staying black, bring on mr inskip and let him try to get close enough to try those tricks again

that said theres a chap on another certain forum who has posted in black and white how he's going to blow me away on the straights in a fiesta!
ok its turbo'd but he thinks 250bhp is fast but he really believes hes gonna out drag me!

bring emm on i say, last year i set out to prove a concept, this year i mean business, which probably means i'm gonna spend half the season in a gravel trap or the percy: percy: percy:

                              rolling road update,

to recap, last time we ran it the engine went danerously lean at high revs so we had to abort, so we rebooked the rollers and ordered some bigger injectors

went back to the rollers today but unfortunatly the injectors are somewhere over the Atlantic at the moment, so we had to be content with trying to back the boost off enough to get the mixture safe enough to race on, it sort of worked, the lowest we could get is 8psi and its still going lean at just over 6000 but its safe enough to race on if i keep the revs down

knocking the boost back has dropped peak torque to 350lbft, but as i can rev it on further than before peak power is 425bhp, which should be more than enough for this coming weekends shake down, and even then wway to much if the rain thats forecast happens
