Looking good jezz with regards to the kit, there was a white nova round my way a few years back (i think bigrod off osf may have owned it, or would definately know of it as it was at the end of the road where his vauxhall breakers is!) but that had a massively wide arch kit on it, maybe a rallycross one and the rear lights were mounted in the arches and the boot was filled in where the old light holes were!!
Hi Dave i am getting the rallycross kit but i still dont think it will be wide enough,as it is at the moment before we have fitted the wide track lower arms the wheels stick out about 4 inches allready,so by the time the longer bottom arms are on that will be 6 inches
I think a decision will have to made, standard track,8 inch wheels or extend the arches even more,
How easy is fibre glass to work with Carlos vandango here we come
I cant get any pics of the outside at the moment as it is wedged in my back garden under a gazebo
but i am not sure what to do with the rear lights as the arches half cover the existing hole and if i cut the arches back i am not sure how to finish them any ideas
i have also fitted the console and clock pod i had made
any opinions or advice gratefully received as building a race car is all new to me
Well we have been busy we got the car blown over last weekend to tidy it up and have put the windows back in and mounted the bonnet and tailgate,we have also fitted the front bumper and started on the rear ,mounting the rain light and picked the engine up so we are going to fit that on saturday we are also going to fit the gearbox once Andy has fitted a different cwp ,it should also be ready for the weekend so we are getting there slowly
