No i have not got a spare set of pads i am going to try to get a thermometer and check the temps ,then compbrake will be able to give me a more informed opinion on which pads to go for

No ,completly bricking it and wondering what have i done i was testing there yesterday afternoon and the car felt shocking and i failed the noise test,good start to my weekend i just hope it improves i cant see me being on the pace to begin withit was really difficult knowing how hard to push,i will just have to try to keep you lot in sight

You'll be fine,just build yourself up to it I would think that the other Nova will be a good pace setter for you unless he's finally got his handling sorted.

Do you know what times you were setting?

Well that was an experience ,qualifying went ok managed to do a 57.7 which was a bit slower than i had hoped for, but in hindsight the fastest lap i have done at brands before was a 102 .in the wet at a trackday so it wasnt too bad but the clutch started to slip on the last few laps of qualifying
came to race one and i wasnt nervous at all which is most unlike me no butterflys or anything did the rolling lap then the lights went green and everyone dissapeared into the distance well not in the first couple of laps i think i even overtoke the bda escort going into the haipin at the top of the hill but he went straight back past when we got to the straightthen i was trying to keep the other nova in sight who was now battling with the yellow escort,just as i was coming towards chessons the escort span in front of me the yellow flags came out and i think i slowed a bit too much as i didnt see the nova again then all i saw was escort cosworths and skylines come whizzing past ,then with about 4 laps left my clutch started slipping again,but i managed to finish and i dont think i came last
As we came back into the pits the clerk of the course waved me aside ,i thought oh sh1t what have i done ,did i miss some flags or baulk some one but he told me that race control had asked him to keep an eye on me and have a word as i was so slow at the begining of the racei thought i did ok i was doing 58 second laps not blinding but as it was my first race in a new car i thought it was respectable still the clutch had given up so i didnt make race 2 to hold anyone up

Cheers Ant the car is faster its just the driver letting the side down at the moment but with a bit more track time i should get quicker

Yes Joe i got some race pads and they worked a treat the brakes felt really strong

I did come to talk to you after the 2nd race but you'd already left,make sure you come and see me next time
