Also fitted the drivers floor plate to raise the floor by about an inch. This is covered in grip tape and I've also stuck some of the tape to the passengers side to keep the floor tidy on that side for when we have a passengers seat on trackdays.

What did you make the floor plate out of and what supports it? I could do with making one for mine

Cheers everyone, yes i'm very glad to see it out in the daylight in one piece

Gavin the floor plate is ally covered in grip tape (same as skate board tape) and it has under it two rubber bars that are about 10" long and an inch square, they are something we use at work so if you need any let me know.

Big thanks to Gary @ retro for getting the exhaust made for the car last night

It took us till 2 am cos we only started early evening but it all got done in one night and now we have a very close fiiting twin box 2.5" system and an ashley 3 piece that doesn't touch anywhere it shouldnt.
The car is already back in its garage and once it's painted enough to protect it the exhaust can be fitted back on the car for good, ready for when we can get the car in for mapping
