Car is running now on all 4 cylinders and seems to be healthy so we are now just waiting for a quick diagnostics check of all the systems again and then a rolling road session.
In the mean time we have fitted the new harnesses, re-plumbed the fire extinguisher and put in some roll cage padding. Nothing major but there is little or nothing left to do on the car now until its mapped, barring the odd decal to put on and giving it a clean up
Car will be ready for a trackday in July and its first race in the beginning of August!!Last edited by david_white; 21-06-2009, 09:20..jpg)

Got a current helmet ?
Got 2 spare wheels and tires ?
Trailer registered and tyres pumped ?
Have you a plan for test day ?

roger lighen up, daves attended more race meetings as pit/paddock crew than a lot of drivers i know, if he dont know by now he never will, next you be asking if he has clean underpants to wear!Comment

not to mention the fact that this thread is about the build of the car, not the ins and outs of what he needs to prepare for racing, most of us have assumed that the very fact he's building his second race car that he knows a little bit about what he needs. Add to that the vast amount of experience of his friends and colleagues alike that have been helping him through the entire project.
A better way to have posted rather than assume he didn't have any of this in place would be to ask him if he had done so.
