Re: DW's (new?) Sierra N/A PINTO race car
Not too bad, we got home by 3 am
Well the scores on the doors SO FAR are that we have 187.9 bhp and 156 ft/iband I'm confident we'd have got over 190 but due to a car before us making us start 3 hours late it meant that we got to the curfew time and Steve couldn't do as much as he wanted with the ignition at the top end.
I'm over the moon with the figures, I'll post a graph up when I can, I think that what Graham has acheived with a 1998cc Pinto here is amazing especially as those rollers don't tend to flatter with their figures.

Re: DW's (new?) Sierra N/A PINTO race car
A quick round up of the week so far as I haven't posted too much. As you see above the engine has now passed its big test and made superb power with excellent driveability but also this week I have passed a medical, my ARDS theory test, the circuit driving test, done 20 laps around brands indy and today we are hoping to get the car round the indy circuit as someone has some spare tracktime so they have offered to 'bed' the car in as I won't get a chance.
All thats left is to try and get the car round safely tomorrow and see how we are doing...... and then sleep for a week

Re: DW's (new?) Sierra N/A PINTO race car
Thanks guys, just a little update Graham managed to pass my car off as a blue BMW today and sneak out onto Brands indy for a dozen laps. He was well pleased with the car, said we had an excellent base setup to get going so no need to adjust anything yet.
Oil ran a little on the hot side so we may well need to fit an oil cooler even though Grahams car has a nearly identical oil system without one and has no problems. Mind you it was quite warm today too
Car seems well planted and neutral and brakes work well so hopefully it will treat me ok tomorrow
