Thanks guys, means a lot to get positive feedback, especially with the quality of your cars.
I'm plugging away at it as methodically as I can and Graham is making progress with the engine, so theres no reason I shouldnt have it all shook down and ready for a season next year.
Gonna get vacuum pipes fitted this week and order the fuel reg, then I think I'll drill and tap the cam cover for a breather so I can finish the breather plumbing..

I haven't been on turbosport for sometime, so now I need to pinch the wife's iPad, make a brew, sit down and read the whole thread from start to finish!

Recently I've been getting into fairly serious arch mods to accommodate 18's and big brakes like yourself. Seem to be getting there now, but it's not for the concours types!

Thanks Iain, too kind. Interested to see your arch mods, I still havent found any that dont spoil the lines too much gonna save 18s for next year though

Should be some fairly big updates coming on mine this month. Lots of new parts should be going on the car soon and the new YB engine is nearly ready

Got hold of another 3 door rear beam. The arms etc should be useful as spares but the beam itself is supposedly modified by Graham Hathaway with most of the holes moved for better geometry. Time will tell but I wont swap the beam until the diff comes out for a new ratio later in the year.





Have stripped out the engine bay ready for the new YB which shouldn't be too long now. Have got several new ancillaries for the engine and only really need to make a heat shield now and apply some heat matting to the bay.

Made another oil pump drive from a dead distributor, this time a genuine marelli YB one which came out a bit better than the pinto one;

Andys should be there, just one more part coming this week. Mine will be done as soon as we can get it running and mapped. Yours should be out there soon no?
