I'm doing the same after smashing the rear quarter last summer
Plus decided to sort all the other bits that have been bothering me so new roll cage and few other bits
I bet you will still be finished first
Made some progress over Christmas, bolted the front wings on to line up with the bonnet, then bolted the front panel to the wings and welded the front panel to the inner wings
I've repaired the passenger door pillar and tidied the door up, just got to do the same on the drivers side (which will take longer as it's got a lot more rust)
Just over 2 months to Ireland so it's got to be finished by then

After a few days working on Fly, I've been back on Dvy this week
Changed the head gasket as a precaution after it got hot on last year's event, and rebuilt the gearbox - the synchros weren't too bad but the blocker bars were mainly stuck to the magnet in the bottom of the casing
I've also painted the door handles, rear spoiler and bumper in satin black
My friend David came over today and we fitted new TCA's, track rod ends, compression struts and started putting the engine bay back together - brake reservoirs and pipes, wiring, extinguisher nozzles, oil pipes and dropped the engine on it's mounts...
Making steady progress getting her back together, got the gearbox back in and some cosmetics
David came over again today and we got the engine bay finished and had the engine running for the first time since last year's event
All loaded up ready for West Cork - working the next 2 days then leaving Wednesday morning
I took a trip to Melvyn Evans on Friday to get all the wheels pointing in the right directions - after changing the axle (swapped the F/F from Fly as I did last year) and fitting new TCA's and comp struts both sides I didn't know where to start. I went for a quick drive yesterday and she feels good.
Just a couple of jobs left for the service crew (Richard, David and Carrie) to do on the Thursday - add the stripes/names and mud flaps and finish bleeding the brakes
We're seeded at 98 in a full entry of 151 cars including 55 Escorts in the main field
