Bolt stretch gauge
During rebuild if I were to use the bolt strech method how can I make sure the bolts have not yeld or over stretced the first time around?
I used the con manufacturers torque specs and obviously did not measure the bolt lenghts prior to tightenning.
Arp spec for 5/16" ARP 2000 bolts is 26lbs/ft and the con manufacturwrs spec was 28.
Do I need to buy another set to be sure their not streched and good to use again with the strtch gauge?

(I'll paint cover with black wrinkle paint if it stays on)
