              good stuff

do you have a target weight or are you just going to keep on removing bits until there is nothing more to remove?

if there were a target weight it would be that of the fwd boys some are under 700kg which is practically impossible, so its whatever i can find by unbolting cutting drilling etc

i did but really i need to loose all the factory underseal which is near impossible without blasting, dipping or a weeks work with a blowlamp and wirebrush

yes its definately easier to drive, but perhaps not how you'd expect, the chassis used to cope with and put the power down extremely well so the huge power wasnt an issue, where its much better is that being slower you have more thinking time certain corners it used to be a case of slam the anchors on get the speed down then corner, where as now you can think a bit more about what your doing, you also get on the power much much earlier, braking is another thing, its much easier to leave it a fraction later, because at the end of the straights the car has basiscally stopped accerating, with the turbo, it was still accerating HARD sio getting on thee brakes a fraction later also meant you were slowing from much higher speed, which made places like paddock hill bend very tricky because it a very fine line betwenn a bit later and in teh kitty litter

the biggest difference for me is i found with the turbo is most of the time you werent actually racing wheel to wheel with anyone it was usually just a case of catching and passing other cars, at the very front of the grid things just tend to string out, without the turbo so far i've done 4 races and each race has been a race long battle with several different cars and thats what i want from my racing, i dont care were in the field i race as long as im actually racing,

as an aside, only using half the amount of fuel is a major bonus it makes racing nearly affordable
