Re: A racing bmw 316, 240bhp Atmo M10
i've bought sone nylon and made some new bushes for the trailing arms, as they are to all intents and purposes solid, i thought i might have issues refitting the arms, especially with my beam mods, thankfully there werent any issues, infact the n/s arm (the only one i've refitted so far) went in a treat easier than with std or poly bushes, interestingly it moves with less sticktion than the old bushes.

for some time i've been looking for a pulley to fit between the diff and driveshaft, but havent been able to find anything suitable, but what i did have was a largeinch thick triangluar lump of billet alloy, an off cut i pulled out of a scrap bin somewhere, after roughly hacking it into a hexagon, i nailed it to a lump of wood, driled a whole in it and spent the next couple of hours at the lathe

here we go one finished pulley, from a charging perspective it could of done with being bigger, but im not bothered the car wil be equiped with a working generator and as such wil satify ther rules, even if it proabebly wont actually charge if im pulling anything less than 7k in 3rd

i cant wait to, have the inevitable conversation where a scruit looks at my engine and asks me where my alternator, then thinks im taking the piss when i say their looking at the wrong end of the car!
