spare shell is a 316, only 325 sport and m3 had slippers and a s/h one of them isnt likely to be any better

Did you make a run witouht the second set of injectors? The two sets of injectors are alot closer to each other now.

we couldnt because just one set isnt big enough, and we didnt have 4 bigger ones to try, yes the two sets are much closer but the double injecting theory should still hold up, although it might be a good idea to do a power run with just a bigger single set working, if it doesnt cost me power the simplication would be good

Might even improve the airflow around the trumpets. If you take the second set off for the run that is. Might very well be worth while to try.
How big would the injectors need to be?

i dout it would have any effect on airflow as we have run the car with the injectors very very close to the trumpets and quite a distance away, it makes no difference to mixture or power,

current injectors are 220cc per min, so i'd need something like 450cc

If your building the diff your self, the porsche 944 uses the same plates from ZF and you can get them from the porka dealers in several thicknesses

I have just had a M42 head ported. The fella who did the work in conversation mentioned it is about 160cfm at 10". I'm waiting for the calibrated figures. Looking back this seems to be about what you have with the S14 head?

I have supertech 34mm inlet and 31.5mm exhaust valves with 6mm stems, schmitthelm valve springs, schrick titanium retainers, Catcams 290°/275°, mechanical lifters.

bit of a lack of updates, and quite deliberately, after my great scrap with bill richards last time out i didnt want to make it public that i was trying to make the car faster

these are the plates out the slipper!

with advise from others and a special thanks for lots of emails and contact info etc from tom at fostek, the slipper has been rebuilt its now got 4 of each plate type in it as well as almost double the preload
